AVERY IS 6....ALMOST!

Avery will turn 6 in just a few short days, and I am a little happy...and a little sad. Where has the time gone? She has just grown up so dang fast and I'm having mixed emotions about it. She is such an interesting little character. She loves drawing and says over and over that she wants to be an artist. She even did a little art camp this summer with her brothers that was a lot of fun and they created some pretty cool things. Do they ever grow out of playing dress up? I think she changes her mind on her wardrobe like 5 times a day! She really loves to antagonize her brothers (wonder where she gets that from)!! But honestly she is a sweetheart and I love having this little sidekick around!

I'm on facebook so much I forget sometimes about my poor neglected personal blog :( Thought I would post a couple of pictures I took of Avery & Ethan for Valentines. I have a bunch of "fun" shoots planned for the kids this year (lucky them)!

CHLOE

Meet our new puppy Chloe! The kids had so much fun this year at Christmas time, but I think they would all agree that the best thing they received was a puppy. We packed the kids in the truck on Christmas eve afternoon, and went for a "drive". They had no idea where we were going or why it was taking so long for that matter. We drove out to Mount Pleasant to pick up the puppy. The kids got out of the truck and wondered what in the heck we were doing at some strange house they had never been to before. Once we got inside the lady brought the puppy out to the kids. I don't think they really got if for a few seconds that we were taking the puppy home and that it was ours! But once they did figure it out, they were so thrilled.

Now it's a big argument each night as to who gets to have the dog sleep on their bed. She really is a cute little bitch (I've always wanted to say that and get away with it....it's the term/name for a female dog)!!! Anyway, we love her to pieces and find that she is becoming a great family friend for the kids. She is a lot of work since she is a puppy. The hardest part is getting her potty trained, but she is doing pretty good. I think she secretly likes me best! And she loves to play fetch already and have her belly rubbed. She is so much fun to have around!
